It’s being fixed. But it isn’t a big problem as the variable is only every used is the pro-version and if you have the more info column enabled.

Not a problem. These are simple fixes – and only because PHP8 is far less tolerant than older versions. Updated version uploaded to the update page.

    Hello,
I have the upgraded version. Now i have a problem. When i export the table file, change it, import it again it works. However when i change some data in the same table in the plugin itself, in the settings, and then hit save, it doesnt save my changes anymore. I worked before, now it doesnt. Whats could be wrong / corrupted?

    • Graham on 02 May 2023:

You hosting only allows a fixed number of input variables when you update the database. If you have too many banks you reach that limit and it doesn’t update. It’s a simple fix. Log into your hosting cPanel and in the Software section go to MultiPHP ini editor and change the max_input_vars to a larger number.

I didn’t know about this when I built the plugin and it’s too late to change it now.

    Hi

I wonder how the “total cost” is calculated…? say that i have a lender with 2.95 – 29.95% interest rate and I have the slider on a lone of 20K USD and repayment period of 10 years… then it shows the total amount to be paid right? But what interest is it based on, is it 2,95? or a average value between 2.95 – 29.95? or 29.95? Or what interest is used…?

    Reply to Emble

    • Graham on 25 Oct 2021:

      Hi Emble,
It uses the lower interest rate unless you enable the min/max option. You will now see the total for each of the interest rates.

Is there a feature to extract data?
I had hoped to have a tailored calculator w/ graphics to this web tool.
And, to create some scenario content using comparative data from the customer and this tool.
Do you allow data access / extraction ?

      Hi Oleksandr,
It’s possible to do but not that simple. The whole plugin is set up to use APR so I’d need to build you a custom version. Won’t be expensive as it’s just few lines of code need updating.

Hey! Great plugin. But I would like to refine it. When adding a bank, I would like to choose the percentage for the year or for the day. I would also like to change the “Repayments” parameter so that you can choose a monthly payment, or for the entire period, or for 2 weeks. Maybe there is such functionality in the pro version? If not, how much will the revision cost?

In what way? The tables are dynamic so not indexable. But if your site is properly configured with pages for each lender then it can be very SEO friendly.

hi, thanks for the plugin, cool product.
Please tell me how to change the properties of the elements (color, size) specified in the screenshot?
    1. color and size of the filter line.
    2. color, font, and size of letters.
    3. color, font, and size of letters.
    4. color and size of the frame.
    5. color, font, and size of letters.
    6. when hovering/clicking, change the color.

Is it possible to modify the plugin:
    1. Ability to set different fonts and letter sizes in different elements?
    2. Ability to copy a Bank item (http://prntscr.com/qz9w9x) and inserting this element in different tables (http://prntscr.com/qz9woz)?
    3. change the font color when hovering (http://prntscr.com/qz9x7k)

      Hi Sasha,
Right click on an any of those elements and you should see see the id/class. You can then use your theme customiser to create the styles you need. The styling options in the plugin can only ever be limited – to build an editor that covers all possibilities would take many, many hours of work. If you want me to do this and can pay for development I’ll be happy to do the code.

It’s not possible to copy individual bank data but if you install the extension you can export/import the whole table.

  19. Mua on 04 Dec 2018:

    HI Graham,
some banks offer loans in local currency and in euros.
But the euro is usually EURIBOR +x%. To make it even complicated sometimes it’s fixed.

So a bank can have EUR or Local currency loans- then fixed loans and variable. And then the real cost of the loan (presumably service charges, fees etc)

    Doable ?

    • Graham on 04 Dec 2018:

Everything is doable! On different plugin I already have options for combining fixed and variable fees so I’m sure I can work something for this plugin. I can make it so you have two ‘fees’ fields for each bank then in the general settings a range of options to set these as fixed or variable and initial or monthly. Would this work for you?

Hi there. I’m very happy to have found this plugin.

Is it possible to predefine variables for each unique customer?

For example, customer 1 receives comparison options with these variables predefined:

    Amount minimum = $10000
    Amount maximum = $50000
    Term minimum = 6 months
    Term maximum = 12 months
    Rate factor = 1.30

Customer 2 receives comparison options with these variables predefined:

    Amount minimum = $10000
    Amount maximum = $100000
    Term minimum = 6 months
    Term maximum = 18 months
    Rate factor = 1.20

The concept is that each customer will receive a unique offer page based on their credit strength. It’s actually the same WP page, but with the calculator variables predefined and merge tags to personalize the page.

My thought is to accomplish this with the use of a URL query string:

    website.com?firstname=borrower&amountmin=10000&amountmax=50000&termmin=6

Thanks for building this and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

      Hi Narin,
It’s certainly possible to do as you suggest. I could add $_GET to the function to replace the settings with the custom variables. Not quite sure how to use the firstname as this isn’t something the plugin uses.
